Pannelli flessibili per siviere di spillatura e di trasporto

MICROTHERM® OVERSTITCHED sono pannelli flessibili in microporoso realizzati su misura con ottime proprietà termiche. In questo tipo di prodotto il microporoso è contenuto in un tessuto di vetro, questo permette al microporoso di non spolverare e di essere facilmente installabile. Il pannello SEMI-OVERSTITCHED si può flettere in una dimensione (applicazioni 2D) mentre il pannello OVERSTITCHED si può flettere in due dimensioni (applicazioni 3D). La formulazione è composta da una miscela opacizzata con filamenti di rinforzo in silice pirogenica (caricata con allumina per la qualità 1200).

MICROTHERM® (SEMI-)OVERSTITCHED-1000R HY è un pannello per l’isolamento flessibile e reallizzabile su misura. La miscelazione è trattata in modo da essere idrofobico. E’ ideale per quelle applicazioni che prevedono contatto con liquidi o con condensa.

Although there are some standard stock sizes available, MICROTHERM® OVERSTITCHED can be custom made according customer specifications. Please contact your regional Promat agency to request your MICROTHERM® OVERSTITCHED sizes.

The standard thickness range is from 3mm up to 10mm. Additionally, thicknesses between 10mm and 15mm are available on request.

MICROTHERM® OVERSTITCHED can be shaped easily with a simple cutter (the procedure can be found in our handbook on microporous insulation). The panels can be fixed in place with glue or by mechanical means such as anchors, pins and clips. For piping applications, the panels are installed with wire and straps, identical to conventional insulation materials.

Typical applications

Microporous insulation offers an extremely low thermal conductivity, close to the lowest theoretically possible at high temperatures. Microporous materials are the preferred choice when a large temperature reduction is required within a limited space, or when strict heat loss or surface temperature requirements are specified:

  • Petrochemical industry & power generation
  • Piping insulation
  • Back-up insulation in refractory lined pipes
  • Rotary kiln insulation
  • Hot pipe support insulation
  • Exhaust systems
  • Filler material for mattresses, cassettes, heat shields, expansion joints
  • PFP (Passive Fire Protection)
