PROMALAN®-CR is a resin-bonded mineral wool board with a mainly vertically-oriented fibre structure. The product is harmless with regard to working hygiene and is not subject to classificiation.

PROMALAN®-CR insulating boards can be easily worked with woodworking machinery and tools. A variety of fixing and connecting systems is available for dimensionally stable cut sections with clean-cut edges, depending on the construction and thermal and mechanical load.

PROMALAN®-CR is used in a wide variety of applications, such as:

  • Compression-proof rear insulating layer for combined insulating constructions, e.g. with refractory concrete, lightweight refractory bricks or ceramic fibres
  • Front side appliciation up to 650 °C and high gas velocities, e.g. for high temperature dryer, heat treatment furnaces, hot air ducts, etc.
  • Heat shield for hot repairs, large-sized covers, short-time even with temperatures above classification temperature
  • Precision and complicated cut sections for dryers, home appliances, plant and machine construction
