Technical calcium silicates

PROMABOARD® are asbestos fibre free calcium silicate boards made in a density range from 1400 to 1800 kg/m3. These large-sized boards are ideally suited for replacing asbestos containing materials in all industrial applications.

PROMABOARD® is a non-combustible board that can be used for applications where a good thermal resistance, high mechanical stability and electrical resistance are required.

Working & processing

PROMABOARD® products can be accurately machined with special processing machinery and appropriate tools. Accurate processing and shaping is usually a precondition for their use as precision parts in machines and plants.

When cutting to size and machining to shape, the maximum allowable workplace concentration for inhalable dust generation must be observed. Dust extraction is recommended.
